The lift assist functionality of this chair is smooth, gently elevating the seat to make sitting down and standing up easy and worry-free. The clean-lined chaise seat and leg rest adjust to form a continuous zone of comfort. Simple lift and recline buttons make laying back easy, using the ergonomically designed backlit wired controller, and tuck the remote into the side pocket along with anything else you'd like to keep close by.
This chair is easy to set up, plugging into an AC outlet. Put 2 9V batteries into the battery as back-up in case of a power failure, which will allow you to leave the chair safely. Another safety feature included is a legrest autostop, which will sense any obstructions in the path of the legrest as the chair is closing and stops the legrest from closing further.
