We deliver in the GTA within 100 kms of our Oshawa Showroom. We also can arrange delivery or facilitate pick ups beyond our delivery area. From furniture set up, placement and package removal, it’s all included in our delivery services. Prices vary depending on delivery location

1934 - Laying the foundation
Our founder, Ed Wilson, made it his mission to provide our community with quality furniture at reasonable prices.
1962 - Passing the torch
The business was passed down to Helen and Bob Sherman who continued to provide the best products and service to new and loyal customers alike.
1999 - Our Current Leaders
Today, Ed’s grandsons Darryl and Jory Sherman carry on the family traditions and philosophy.

A Family Business Since 1934
Wilson Furniture was founded by Ed Wilson in 1934. As a community leader and neighbourhood friend, Ed believed that new arrivals to Oshawa should be able to furnish their homes affordably.
With enough support from the local community, an old roller skating rink was converted to our first store location. This location now serves as our new 17,000 sq. ft showroom.
2nd Generation
After 30 amazing years, Ed Wilson retired and handed the family business to his daughter Helen and son-in-law Bob Sherman. The business was further expanded by the purchase of Wilson Galleries, which was converted into a showroom in 1967.
3rd Generation
After learning and working in the family business, the ownership was passed along to Ed’s grandsons Darryl and Jory Sherman. They have since been upholding the family business values and providing great products, service, and giving back to the community.
Today
Today Wilson Furniture is one of Ontario’s oldest family owned furniture stores. The Sherman brothers continue to bring new and unique furniture from Canada and around the world to you. Using new technology to share our beautiful showrooms and products, there is still nothing better than a personal visit and opportunity to meet our talented design team who are here to help you!
